Police appeal to find missing 14-year-old from Tumbi Umbi

Police are appealing for help to locate 14-year-old Lakiya McKinley, also known as Lakiya McGuinness, who has been reported missing from the Tuggerah Lakes area.

She was last seen on Northumberland Way at Tumbi Umbi about 3pm on Saturday, July 11. Tuggerah Lakes Police District officers began inquiries after she could not be located or contacted.

Lakiya is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 140cm tall and of solid build, with a light brown complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black Fila jumper and white shoes.

She is known to frequent the Central Coast and Sydney areas and to use public transport.
