Diesel spill cleared on M1 at Wyee after truck fuel tank rupture
Both southbound lanes reopened after a diesel spill just past Bushels Ridge Road, with crews remaining briefly to monitor traffic and road conditions.
A diesel spill on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wyee has been cleared after a truck’s fuel tank ruptured just past Bushels Ridge Road.
One southbound lane was closed while Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Police and traffic management crews responded.
Both lanes had reopened by 4.50pm, with crews staying at the scene for a short time to monitor traffic and road conditions.
The incident has since been resolved and all services have departed.
