Erina High campus closed after fire damages school site
Students have been told to learn from home on Tuesday 30 June while Erina High waits on safety clearances, with emergency supervision arranged at nearby Woodport Public School.

Erina High School will remain closed on Tuesday 30 June 2026 after a fire damaged the school site, forcing students into a learn-from-home day while safety checks and clean-up work are carried out.
No students or staff will be allowed on campus while the school waits for an independent hygienist report, other clearances and make-safe work before the site can reopen.
Students have been asked to follow their normal timetable through Google Classroom, where teachers will post work and monitor engagement.
Families who cannot supervise a child at home have been asked to call Erina High on 4367 7353. Alternate supervision will involve students being moved under teacher supervision from the Erina High School bus bay, across the Ernest Street pedestrian crossing, to Woodport Public School.
Students using that arrangement have been told to bring morning tea and lunch, with canteen access at Woodport Public School expected to be limited.
The school expects students and staff may be able to return to Erina High on Wednesday 1 July, subject to full site clearance.
Some classrooms will remain out of use because of the fire, meaning timetable and room changes are expected. Confirmation about re-occupation of the campus was due on Tuesday 30 June.
