Man flown to Royal North Shore Hospital after being struck by train at Gosford
Train services resumed from all Gosford platforms after the man was freed and transferred by CareFlight helicopter to Royal North Shore Hospital.

A man was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition after he was struck by a train at Gosford.
CareFlight was tasked to assist as Fire and Rescue NSW helped paramedics extricate the patient. He was transferred to Adcock Park, where the helicopter had landed, before being flown to hospital.
Train services on the Central Coast and Newcastle Line were initially suspended at Gosford, with delays of up to 20 minutes expected. Trains were later departing Gosford from all platforms.
