$17.14m food manufacturing hub opens at Ourimbah
The completed facility offers eight food-grade production bays, pilot and training spaces for established and scaling Central Coast food and beverage businesses.

A $17.14 million Commonwealth-backed Food Manufacturing Innovation Hub has opened at Ourimbah, giving Central Coast food and beverage producers access to commercial-scale facilities and specialist business support.
The hub is designed to help small and medium businesses move from small-batch production towards larger commercially viable operations, including through product development, testing and commercialisation.
The completed building includes eight fully serviced food manufacturing spaces covering 1,500 square metres, along with a pilot facility, offices and amenities. Its total building area is about 2,100 square metres.
Construction began in April 2025 and was completed by the end of March 2026. Central Coast Council provided the site under a long-term lease.
Central Coast Industry Connect said the project also provides training, test-market production opportunities and access to technical, product development, management and shop-floor support. The University of Newcastle, RDA Central Coast and Central Coast Council were acknowledged as partners at the launch.
