A patient has been flown to John Hunter Hospital after a reported motorcycle and car crash on Terrigal Drive near Bellbird Avenue.
Emergency services were called to the scene as traffic was affected in both directions, with eastbound traffic earlier reported at a standstill.
Terrigal Drive was later closed in both directions between Bellbird Avenue and Willoughby Road, with local diversions in place.
The Toll Rescue Helicopter landed at the scene while NSW Ambulance and the Toll Rescue medical team treated the motorcycle rider.
The patient was loaded onto the helicopter, which departed for John Hunter Hospital. Terrigal Drive was reported reopened at 9.10pm.
