Child taken to Gosford Hospital after scalding burns at Umina

A child has been taken to Gosford Hospital by road after sustaining scalding burns in a household accident at Umina.

NSW Ambulance had tasked the Toll Rescue Helicopter to the incident, with the helicopter landing at Rogers Park at Woy Woy.

After assessment by the Toll medical team, the child was determined able to be transferred to hospital by road.

The Toll helicopter has returned to base. No further condition details have been released.
